Academic Enrichment for Students Entering Kindergarten to Students Entering 3rd Grade

Looking for more support for your child this summer? Black Bear Academy is excited to offer an intensive summer program for students entering kindergarten through 3rd grade. Offered in two sessions, this intensive, multi-sensory academic program provides specialized interventions in reading, math, and written expression to help your child build and retain key skills over the summer months.
Academic Summer Camp
With weekly themes and activities in art, sports, music, and STEM, your child will love coming to camp every day. Our small-group sessions serve as an extension of your child’s academic school year and will give students individualized attention as they learn, grow, and play. Our team will recommend individualized camp schedules for each student following enrollment.
Therapeutic Summer Camp
Our therapeutic camp programming serves as an extension of your child’s academic school year with the same academic enrichment and push-in or pull-out support to help your child grow and thrive. Our team will recommend individualized camp schedules for each student following enrollment.
Learning Differences Summer Camp
The programming for our learning differences camp is focused on providing a safe, fun place for your child to play and grow in their learning style. Our team will recommend individualized camp schedules for each student following enrollment.
Small-group or one-on-one instruction based on each child's educational needs
Half-day or full-day options
Individualized programs taught by our highly-skilled staff of teachers and therapists
Evidenced-based curricula for reading. writing, and math including Wilson Reading Program, Fundations, The Writing Revolu-tion, SQ Write, Touch Math, and Jump Math
Students can enroll in a half-day option from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM or a full-day option from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Each day, students will receive 50 minutes of reading instruction, 50 minutes of writing instruction, and 50 minutes of math instruction. Full-day students will have lunch and recess from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM before beginning their afternoon sessions. Full-day students can choose from art, social studies, or science classes or that time can be utilized for individual services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy. social skills group, or individual therapy with a psychologist.
Current BBA Students: Your child’s current teacher will work with your family to recommend a camp schedule.
New Students: Our team will conduct placement evaluations for all new students to determine the best camp schedule to meet their individual needs.To learn more about camp scheduling, tuition, and enrollment, please send an inquiry to email@example.com.
