Mandy Jasnoff joined the Black Bear team in August 2011. Mandy was born in Philadelphia, and grew up outside of Washington, D.C. She received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders, with a minor in psychology from Syracuse University (let’s go Orange!). At Syracuse, Mandy was president of the school’s chapter of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Mandy received her Masters of Science from Boston University in Speech-Language Pathology, where she was given the opportunity to train in a wide variety of clinical settings, including the Boston Public Schools, the Brookline Early Education Program, The LABBB Collaborative, the Augmentative and Alternative Communication department of Children’s Hospital Boston, the Boston University Speech and Language Clinic, the Boston University Aphasia Resource Center, and the Joseph Germono Fluency Center at Boston University. After graduation, she stayed in Boston to complete her clinical fellowship at S&L Therapy in Brookline, MA, where she evaluated, managed and treated a caseload of 25+ children ranging in age from 20 monthsto 15 years.
When Mandy’s family decided to move to the midwest, she knew that she needed to follow soon after and that Chicago was her top choice! She is thrilled to become a part of the Black Bear team!
