Jennifer was born in Massachusetts and grew up in Westfield, New Jersey. She graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a B.S in Early Childhood Education and is certified to teach birth through 3rd grades. Jennifer student taught in an inclusive third grade classroom in Oxford, OH, an experience that allowed her to differentiate instruction in order to accommodate the needs of each learner.
Jennifer taught the language enrichment two year old class last year at Black Bear and is extremely excited to teach the 3′s Mid-Year-Transition to IKI for the 2011-2012 school year! Jennifer is also the team lead for the Language Enrichment department.
When Jennifer is not in the classroom she enjoys yoga, walking, exploring the city, and trying new and different kinds of food. She was a member of the New Jersey Dance Theater Ensemble in Madison, NJ and also danced at the Alvin Ailey School in New York City. She continued her passion for ballet and modern dance in college by joining Dance Theater. Jennifer will be teaching in the LE program and is extremely excited to be part of Black Bear!
