After graduating from John Carroll University in 2003, Pat returned to Chicago. In 2003 he started working for Fox Sports Net Chicago as a commercial writer/producer. While there, Pat spent most of his time focused on commercials for the White Sox, Cubs, Bulls, and Blackhawks. In 2004, Pat left television to pursue other opportunities and began working at LADSE (LaGrange Area Department of Special Education) where he worked as a one-on-one assistant in an early intervention autism program for children ages 3-5 years old. He worked there for two years and truly enjoyed his work. In 2006 Pat left LADSE to work as a one-on-one assistant in another early intervention autism classroom for NSSED (North Shore Suburban Education Department). It was a short year later in 2007, when Pat received a call from a friend who had heard about Black Bear. Pat started his Black Bear career in mid October and has enjoyed every second of it. He works in the therapeutic and 2.5 classrooms. When Pat isn't at Black Bear he spends his time acting around Chicago. Focusing on mostly comedy; Pat has performed at the Second City, IO (Improv Olympic), Annoyance, Balliweck, Stage Left, Chicago Center for the Performing Arts, and Lakeshore Theater. He has also been in numerous TV and Radio commercials for Toyota, Gillette, MLB.com, Forsythe, and the Chicago Blackhawks. This fall, Pat will attend a three day conference at Harvard University with his colleagues, to learn about Learning and Neurology. Longer term, Mr. Pat hopes to support hisself through his unique talents in the television and comedy.
