Black Bear's Extended Day option gives your child an opportunity to continue their school day with additional learning. This is a great option for students ready for a longer day. Extended Day curriculum follows the classic Black Bear approach of multi-modal, multi-sensory, fun, discovery-based learning.
All students enrolling in the Extended Day Program will participate in the lunch/recess program from 12:00- 1:00 followed by two classes, each one hour long. Extended Day ends at 3:00 each day. There is a minimum sign up of one day per week.
Students are able to sign up for the full year, or for each session.Sign up for all sessions is available now.There are no make-ups for extended day. **Parents of children in Extended Day have a once a month volunteering requirement for lunch duty.
