Black Bear®Academy

DeAdra attended Loyola University and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology.  Her sophomore year, she was invited to join the Developmental Psychology Lab’s research team.  This opportunity allowed her to spend the duration of college working closely with young children in Chicago schools to collect data for a variety of studies.  The topics ranged from language development to emotion recognition, and each study helped her learn more about a new area of development.  She is an assistant for LE and therapeutic classes. DeAdra is looking forward to another exciting year at Black Bear!
