Hannah is a transplant to Chicago from Michigan. She grew up in West Bloomfield, Michigan, just outside Detroit. She received dual bachelor degrees in Speech Language Pathology & Audiology and Spanish from Western Michigan University and a masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan where she graduated Cum Laude. During her time at Western Michigan University, Hannah had the opportunity to study abroad in Santander, Spain where she completed courses and the local university. She works hard to maintain her second language skills.


Hannah has had the opportunity to work with populations ranging from infancy through geriatrics in a variety of settings including schools, summer camps, private practice, outpatient clinics, early intervention, and hospitals. Hannah has experience assessing and treating several communication disorders including articulation, language, literacy, fluency, cognition, swallowing, and voice. She has a passion for pediatric speech-language pathology and possesses skills in treating children with autism spectrum disorder, language, articulation, and fluency disorders, and many others. Hannah is committed to continuing the expansion of her skills through continuing education, mentorship, and inter-professional collaboration. She has also lead and assisted in several therapeutic classes at BBA, including Tx Play, Intro to TPS, TPS, Tx Prep, and KP! She is excited for another great year at Black Bear.
