Brooke Ludder is a Speech Language Pathologist and officially joined the Black Bear team in the summer of 2016! She grew up in Maryland just outside of Washington D.C. Brooke received her B.A in Psychology with a minor in Fine Arts from the University of Dayton, and decided to pursue Speech Language Pathology shortly after. Brooke completed undergraduate Communication Sciences and Disorders coursework post-bacheloreate at the University of Pittsburgh, where she worked as a research assistant in a dichotic listening lab. Brooke moved to Chicago after graduation and now lives in Lincoln Square. Her passion for working with children, and her drive to incorporate the child as a whole through professional collaboration led her to the Black Bear team!

During her time at Black Bear Academy, Brooke has participated in a variety of therapeutic classes including Therapeutic Play, Language Play, Intro to Therapeutic Preschool, Therapeutic Preschool, Kindergarten Prep Classes, Social Language, and Learning and Engagement. Brooke is ready for another fun year at Black Bear Academy and is looking forward to working with black bear families.
